oh dear anyone`s face except his..

Born on the 12th September 1951

Educated locally  and went on to University College Dublin

This was a great achievement and was indeed the icing on the cake

At the age of fourteen Bertie

Decided which path to take

Looking towards politics he began to take heed

Walking tall and that's not all

Like all good travellers he gathered speed

When taking over the Presidency in EU in 2003

He created his own kind of fame

A ready smile and friendly handshake

With lots of success stories to his name

Transforming rural Ireland he created a boom

Ireland is a small country yet he found room

Turning the economy round improving life for better off masses

The rich grew richer what about the working class?

His passion for sport went down well

Is that enough? it is not what the papers tell

There is such a shortage of beds for children

With serious childhood mental illness some are sent abroad

Others have been admitted to beds on adult wards

Rosaleen Best selling auther.

Cool Poem Rosaleen!
