Hi Rob, Can you please put copies of my 2 letters up on your site for other survivors to read, and if in agreement with my aims, to get the Caranua project abandoned , in favor of a fair and proper share out of the existing funds to the remaining qualified Survivors, then perhaps email's/letter s of support from as many Survivors as possible , to both party's , would help us a lot, and show our overall feelings on the entire matter ! Whatever needs to be done, apart from protests etc , needs to be done ASAP, before we all get diddled out of our money, given to us by the Religious, but with Quinn taking control of it, and insulting us all by this illegal outfit Caranua, which any intelligent person can see, is not fit for purpose, it is illegal, and the ultimate further abuse on all Survivors, most now in their elder years. I would love to see every Survivor start some serious protest now against this sick treatment Quinn is master minding ! And hitting us with ! RE: THE STATUTORY FUND/ CARANUA  FRAUD .

 

Dear Earnest,

 

Most Survivors who had their cases heard at the RIRB, were humiliated, badly short changed, received awards that were a pittance and insult to them , and were encouraged by their respective legal teams, Solicitors/Barristers,   to sign gagging orders, (which carried various threats,  including fines, imprisonment or both),  in acceptance, or risk losing out completely on their petty awards .

 

This  was very bad advice at the time, and left a sour taste in the mouths of Survivors of Irelands shame . It also made it impossible for Survivors to ever trust Solicitors again.

 

However, being very impressed with your firms handling of Louise O Keefes recent case at the ECHR, I am writing to you to seek your assistance  by representing Survivors to this same venue,  with our issues regarding Minister Quinn’s Caranua scheme , which for all intent and purposes is illegal, corrupt ,engineered, designed and produced by Quinn in order to inflict further abuse on the remaining Survivors,  and deprive us of what is our Statutory Trust Fund, our rightful money , as contributed to us by the Religious, along with their long awaited apologies and final recognition

Of the serious injury and damage that was handed to us as Children by them ,at the various gulags and institutions of  so called Holy Ireland .

 

There is currently £110 million plus in this fund, with a promise of further money  from the sale of various properties, and lands held by the Religious.

 

The existing Survivors , mostly now in their elderly years, feel that the proper way to deal with this overall issue, is to share out this fund in an equal and fair manner , thus allowing Survivors the opportunity to decide how to spend this money, on their own quality of life, and  their families , and not to be dictated to Quinn , who effectively is high jacking our fund for his ulterior motives and administering it with criteria, rules, nonsense regulations,   terms and conditions , that makes  it virtually impossible for any Survivor to  gain a cent from what is rightfully theirs to begin with .

 

In order for Quinn to carry out this scheme, he had to effectively create a new outfit to replace our STF, and Caranua was produced, using his power and new legislation, taking up much of Survivors time, over 6 years, in which time sadly,  we lost many Survivors. 

 

Those Survivors  we lost ,    their spouses and family   are now denied any sort of  consideration for claiming what should have gone to them, 

 as his bent rules dictate !

 

The entire Caranua is a fraud, certainly not designed to help or assist Survivors, as they claim. It is a total farce , criminal , unjust, and amounts to bare faced robbery of Survivors money .

 

Ernest , I enclose various copies of Survivors posted comments to you for your perusal, I feel that after reading through it all , you will agree and see that we have a valid argument as to the disposal of OUR money, it is with out- doubt an infringement of our human rights, and only the power of the ECHR , with your assistance , would ensure that this entire illegal business  of Quinn’s Caranua, gets a just and fair hearing.

 

In this respect I, along with most Survivors ,  would ask you to please take this all on board, and represent us by taking our case to the ECHR .

 

Showing Quinn up to the world , and exposing his contemptible treatment of Survivors , who are now living all over the world.

Thank you James I won't bother with Carranua. I've just learned that both hard and E-book copies of my book will be available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble next month. My problem is I don't wish to sell it to people who are caring for loved ones so I shall make it available by posting the download details on Alzheimer's sites. Below is a copy of the download. And I have our own health problems and are getting good medical help thanks to great GPs

and Hospitals down this neck of the woods  in Sussex

Things are improving with our efforts to get Quinn's outrage exposed, most folk on here and contacts I have all over  the world are encouraging, with there emails ,  to as are Survivors on here, ! Most are not bothered with his evil Caranua Scam , and his efforts to control what is rightfully ours!  after digesting all the detail mos concluded that it was designed to make  it  further abuse  and impossible to gain a penny from with it  very bent criteria !

While it is nice to be thanked and appreciated , In   no way am I doing anything for brownie points ! I simply believe a serious case o abuse it being visited on Us survivor's  for the second  time in our lives !

So sorry for not getting back to you. I've been unwell. Guess I should have checked the download I posted to discover it did not work. Here is the correct one and this time I'll check to make sure it works.

I'm giving it free to carers of loved one suffering from Alzheimer's. Had I not had the experiences of having my entire childhood stolen there is no doubt that I could have cared for my wife as I did. Now I accept what the experts say; 'that it is impossible for anyone to care for a loved one on their own suffering from Alzheimer's.' But then I'm not anyone, I'm a survivor.

to extend it, i Rob , Thank you for putting up my letters to Ernest, and to let you,  and everybody else here ,  who have supported and commented on my views favoribley  here, and feel about the entire issue as i do, that we all are  in agreement and very determined to       

expose Quinn,   and do all in our  power  to get him to see that his "Caranua"     with its fancy name,   is nothing more than a heinous,   insulting crime,  on the last of the existing Survivors,  still just about alive , to be subjected to a replay , for the SECOND  time,    of  their sad and unfortunate lives, of being seriously abused  again !

Granted , the first time we were badly mistreated ,and  abused , in our Childhoods ,  it was at the hands of the Religious,    who in fairness , have sincerely apoligised, and made financial   contributions ect, in their  efforts and strides,  to redress us a little  bit further,  ease  our losses and burdens,  in our Elderly years,   BUT , then  along comes Quinn and his band of trouble  shooters, mouthpieces ,sidekicks,    financed with our money , to enable Quinn  and them,to   enforce the strict  criteria,  that ensures virtually no one will succeed  in getting one cent from this SCAM !

 

At the present moment , i am busy as can be , in constantly sending much material , written,  copied and printed ,and posted  to Quinn,Kenny, and also  the Solicitor that i am hopeing   we will be able to enlist to our present circumstances  Earnest Cantillon,  And come to the Survivors aid .

The fact of the matter is,  that to date,  i have not had any communication from Ernest, on our request, but would hope that it is a good sign,  and possibly an indication,   that he and his legal team are investigating and researching at lenght , the avenues,  and merits of conducting and presenting our case to the ECHR , just as  they did in Louise o Keefe's cruel and heartless  case,where in irish courts and with  micky mouse legal teams,

She endured a terrible experience of proving her claims that the irish state were guilty of being responcible  for the abuse and crimes of sexual assault,against her,    and othe girls,   of which the irish state denied being responcible for . But Ernest took on her case to the ECHR   and   put a very large dollop of egg on Quinns and his micky mouse partners at the Dail !                 In winning Louises Case for Her !                                            Poetic justice ,i call that !

 

 

To conclude, i have composed a little poem ,some of which i inherited from a car boot  sale some years ago , which kicked of this idea to extend   it . The first verse was written on a piece of rock , the rest i added, enjoy !!

Hi AGAIN,  Catherine, i for got to mention that i spent a couple of hours writing a post to you in reference to the comment you made regarding that photo , and in explaining that no , it is not of me , but my dear Wife Babs,  taken when She was 16 years old, and  much much detail about how we came to meet, and ended up being married now 29 years, etc, etc, but LOL ,not knowing that there are limits on the amount of txt you can use in a posting, 4000 characters, i had gone over thaat amount and the mysterious buggger that monitors and controls this situation ,, popped up on my screen telling me i had exceeded my permitted amount and legged it with all my hard work !

 

I txd our friend Rob, to explain and seek his assistance, but he replied that he was unable to retrieve  it for me and repost it to you, and then he gave me some advice on how to avoid this happening again, by breaking it all up into 2/3 seperate postings, much appreciated now by me, as im am still struggling to gain experience on this pc gadget !

When i retired at 65, my daughter Eve, persuaded me to invest in a pc, and although terrified of anything as advanced as this new technoligy, and its jargon etc, i went ahead and purchased one, which eve set up for me and showed me how to switch the bloody thingy on, then proceeded to teach me the basics, and over the years i have improved a lot , learned much tru trial and persistant errors, and am well pleased with my progress, it allows me to type for ireland england etc all my fights and battles with the likes of Quinn , Kenny ,and  Gilmore,  plus the Solicitor i have bombarded with much information in my efforts to enlist his services as Survivors representitave , in our ongoing fight for redress,  from the ST FUND which Quinn is illegally controlling, and making it extremly hard for the remaining Survivors to access , the ultimate case that if Quinn does not budge and give Survivors fair consideration and respect, that Ernest will then issue a Writ to take him to the ECHR, and expose his disgusting attempt to make Survivors, beg for what is rightfully theirs , breaching our human rights, inflicting more distress and anxiety on already much damaged Men and women who were so badly abused in their Childhhod !   

Like a jack russel, i have the bit between my teeth, i strongly resent Quinn doing this to me , my Family , and all my fellow Survivors, with my share of that money the Religious contributed to us, i could use it to enable life to be more comfortible for those i love, NOW, and not in so many years as Quinn wants, and i am absolutly certain that applys to all Survivors to ! So i am very happy that most of you agree with my points and give me great encouragement .

while i am saying that , please accept that in  no way am i soliciting brownie points for my efforts, or credit for any- thing concerning our situation, it is my battle on behalf of my loved ones, and if all Survivors want to be included in that,

 then great, the more it help,s our crusade !

As i have indicated recently, i am still waiting to hear a responce  from Earnest, but i can only hope that after the amount of stuff i have submitted to him, and the stuff other Survivors have to sent to him, he has designated some of his legal people to view all this stuff and determine that he will take up our issues on our behalf. And that he will convey that to me ,and i will let everyone here know here !  ALL DIGITAL FINGERS CROSSED !

Hi Catherine, thats nothing , you should have seen the long post i worked on to you ,only to have some pham ton appear on my screen telling me i had exceeded the amount of words allowed, and legged it away with my hard work, thats another,   deserving a puck in the gob, as well as you,!   if you were to take the remark me mrs made ,when i told her you asked if that was me in the photo, lol, and she replied ,"you hairy basket, fancy her  thinking you were me! " she needs  specsavers !!  all in good humour catherine, she is an  lovely english lass with a smidgin of my blarney, after 32 years stuck with this gombeen !  She loves us all really , the crazy irish , and dearly loves our humour, craic, and survivor instincts !  She is well aware of much of the pain and suffering we endured in our childhood,but in fairness , gives me understanding to deal with it, space to fight my battles, which are ongoing,  and will be,  till the light goes out !

Yes Catherine , i spend many hours on my pc, i enjoy its merits of allowing me to get my message to the likes of the poor excuses of irishmen who control our lives and our money at this moment in time, , i write it all out, copy and print it all out and despatche it by recorded delivery to them all, they love me at the local post office, all my asian brothers, who remark, blinking blimy jimmy , not again , you are here so often you must be part of the furniture !

Catherine , when i am working on my letters to the likes of Quinn and the various others in Leinster House, i find it helps a lot to keep me a little calm by listening to some of my favourite music , like Charles Landsborough , "what colour is the wind,"  and other lovely laid back songs, also that great folk hero, Christy Moore, "Live at the point",  if only Quinn & Co had their talent and wisdom , our lot would not be  so hard to endure !
