The Shame of Ireland
There's just over a week left... You all have stories to tell and experiences to share - the Abbey Theatre, Ireland’s National Theatre, has announced, “We want to hear from communities who feel marginalised and silenced – we want to hear your stories!” – so this would be a rare chance for survivors, their families and friends to work together on a project that could get the truth across and cut through all the lies.
You can support this by signing a letter to the Abbey that will be sent next Friday, 15th, the deadline. The letter is being drafted now and the application is being written - but it's very important that survivors have a say in the whole process and can change or approve things along the way. So I can send you the draft letter for you to give comments and feedback on. You can add in any ideas or suggestions you like.
Just reply or add a comment here and I'll send it to you - looking forward to hearing from you!
