The Shame of Ireland
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO HEAR OF JUSTICE FOR OUR CHILDREN WHO WERE LEFT OUT OF ALL DEALINGS FOR EDUCATION GRANTS BY THOSE WHO SHOULD BE SHAMED OPENLY?MEANING THOSE SO CALLED GROUPS WHO CLAIMED TO REPRESENT SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES, THE RELIGIOUS TO EVERY OFFICE IN GOVERNMENT AND LAW.
THIS IS SO SICK THE LONGER IT GOES ON, BECAUSE THE LONGER IT GOES ON THE LONGER CHILDREN HAVE TO DO WITHOUT.
NOW THE GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO CUT CHILD BENEFIT YET AGAIN BY 10 EUROS, I BET SURVIVORS CHILDREN WILL LOSE OUT EVEN MORE, ESPECIALLY WHEN THESE CHILDREN DO NOT HAVE OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS TO VISIT THEM LIKE MAINSTREAM SOCIETY.
THEY ALREADY LOST THEIR CHRISTMAS BONUS FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS OR SO.
THESE GOVERNMENT OFFICES FOR CHILDREN ARE BEHAVING EXACTLY IN THE SAME WAY AS THEY DID TOWARD US IN OUR CHILDHOOD SO MUCH FOR ALL THE APOLOGIES AND LISTENING TO SURVIVORS NEEDS.
WE NEED SOMETHING DONE AND NOW, NEVER MIND GROUP MEETINGS, CONFRONT THE GOVERNMENT WITH THIS OR STEP DOWN ALL OF YOU WHO ARE MAKING CLAIMS TO REPRESENT SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
CHILDREN FIRST NOT LAST OUR OUR LIVES ARE JUST WORTHLESS WITH NO VOICE AT ALL.
Social Justice Ireland believes a fairer future is possible and deliverable. It is crucial however that Government’s decisions and the terms of the bailout agreement with the IMF/ECB/EC should be focused on delivering such an outcome. These were key fundamentals for Budget 2012 presented to the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform by Social Justice Ireland on November 2, 2011.
The Social Justice Ireland delegation went on to make the following points in the course of a wide-ranging presentation and discussion.
The adjustments required and the decisions taken should all be in the context of reaching a future that is fair, just and sustainable. As well as this it is essential that the pathway towards such a future must itself be just and fair. It is essential therefore that the decisions taken in the context of Budget 2012 take some key steps towards such a future and do so in a fair and just manner.
I agree there Roberts Childs wellbeing is very important. Small children need lots of contacts so that thay learn with confidence. socalising is a big part of this . if thay are isolated well education is immpossable as kids need other kids to measure up to . that the groups can not understand the importance of the childs future well its not for us but for the chairpersons.
