The Shame of Ireland

The Shame of Ireland

JUST TO ADD PROOF OF HOW SURVIVORS NEVER DID AGREE TO ANY FUNDS

I ( meaning you me or any survivor ) who was NOT approached by any so called SURVIVOR OF ABUSE GROUP IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM OR DOCUMENT OR EVEN PHONE CALL about agreeing to any funds previous or 50 50 deal. I was most certainly not APPROACHED by the sam on ANY MEMORIAL or STATUTORY FUND this time either.

If you are a SURVIVOR OF INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL ABUSE can you please post this on PLEASE we need support on the 14th MAy outside the Dail where Minister Quinn has claimed we the survivors as a majority have agreed to this Statutory Fund . Therefore this is a fraudulent agreement as ALL survivors are entitled to disagree especially to be ASKED.

We never or could ever AGREE TO ANY 50 50 DEAL If knowing it were to be taken from our COMPENSATION from the RELIGIOUS who owe us MORE than money itself.

The religious should NOT pay the PIMP? QUINN who wants money for his own Political party, for allowing the abuse of children in RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS .
As this is the case if the 50 50 deal goes through. THE RELIGIOUS WILL BE PAYING THIS GOVERNMENT THAT ALLOWED THEM TO ABUSE CHILDREN AND WOMEN.
There is no difference between this and a PIMP who collects money for illegal acts in society.

PLEASE TURN UP ON THE !4TH OF MAY TO STOP THIS FUND AND THE 50 50 DEAL outside the DAIL. See OLIVER BURKE MUNSTER SURVIVOR SERVICES FOR DETAILS

Meeting in Government Buildings

In summery It was a difficult meeting because of the expectations among some groups that there would be a great deal more money for compensation and they had told their members of this.

The Taoiseach was very patient with everybody and gave time to listen and take in all that was said. None the less I believe that though only three representatives agreed to the establishing of a trust fund by the government and everyone else were clearly against the idea, the Government will plough ahead regardless of survivor’s opinions and set up such a fund. Let us all wait and see who is right?

Many of us from when thay were industriel schools are now ageing. most of us are over 60.And the fact that there is no mention of industriel schools as such but all as reformatory schools and residential places  on the staturary fund it is in fact nothing to do with us. In different posts if we have bought our own computers we learn tit bits of news about celebrations going on for survivers but we are no more involved than the general public. Those of us who live abroad only learn from others whats being done for us. the ryne report brought a lot of false information in its stride. But it was given out as information not as a rumeur. the church offered to do something for the survivers of these places but as a general charity wasent what thay offered. its as if the survivers who took part in the reports were being ripped off. As all the news is about how great one or two find things.i was read somewhere that niomi cambells mother was invited to a celebration this is as crazy as things could get. next news another cake cutting.
