Yes it is so they can see they were once a child and should be shared ,  It took me 12 years to get these photos I kept asking the two people in a centre in Dublin  because I know they have all the photos ,they ignored all my requests  never got back to me not even a phone call  so in the end I went to see the Nun in a hospital and asked her , I don't know how she got them but she sent them on to me. she could only get hold of these two not the rest ,so much for Healing of Instutional Abuse.

alwayss does. thay dont answer letters or share photos of us all as children. i have tried too . no answers which in itself is hurtfull.but it seems that thats the way it works.

there were photos of other children in my 'file' but i was not allowed to have them (copy) "because their permission would needed to be sought" even though i was in the photos. i bet other victims of Smyly Homes got the same excuse for not being given copies of photos other children happened to be in.

Jack, you mustn't give up. Surely if you bombard them with requests they will hand them over just to get you off their case?
