Barbara I have received hundreds of these from Kenny down to Minsters it is no wonder Caranua can do what the like nobody at the Dail the light bulb has blown.makes you wonder what they get payed for. All survivors should send him emails it might even get the light back on

Same here, first they tell you we will look into that for you, give you a very handy ref number then you will be told that its caranuas problem and nothing to do with them, yet over on the caranua website it clearly states that the minister is the head of caranua so round and round it goes where it stops .....

I have just received a response from the Minster of Education informing me Caranua has nothing to do with his office any complaints I have I should take up with them. This makes him as useless as a dead dick as far as Caranua is concerned
Nothing new in this it was the same when we were in industrial schools I have the very same response from the Minster of Education in 1954 when my Aunt tried to get me out.Nothing to do with me contact the Director of the industrial School a sure sign We are all in it together

It's just as many survivors suspected many survivors are afraid to speak out because they are afraid if they do they will get no help. This is a shocking state of affairs.To silence survivors in this way is beneath contempt

That is exactly whats going on, add the intimidation of audits by caranua on survivors into that mix.

True but how do we get over this dreadful situation It is a situation like survivors never left industrial schools the Catholic Church done such a good job in brain washing victims the any connection with people with any sort of power sends fear into them Caranua has no hold over survivors only the power given to them by survivors

I wish i had an answer for that,  all we can do is try, if we had a system in place where people who claim to work for us could be brought before a judge to answer for mistreatment of us at least those of us who refuse to accept this abuse 2.0 would have options, ministers, ombusman internal complaints systems have all been useless, to many vested interests, i am open to ideas William.

There is no answer to this I have being trying since two thousand to get people to stand up for themselves the solicitor that represented me at the Redress board wanted to sue me for stating the facts of that sham. Sometime I wonder if it's worth the effort Caranua is not important to me but to my fellow brothers and sisters it is very important for that I keep going. But there has to be a point when we had enough and admit there is nothing we can do. I could have wrote a number of books by now but I spend my time on Facebook discussing the same problems
