CHRISTIAN MORALS ?A controversy has emerged around proposal to establish a National Council for Unmarried Mothers in Ireland. Opposition to the idea has been expressed by Rt. Rev. Monsignor C.J. Barrett, P.P., Chariman of the Central Council of Catholic Adoption Societies. Msgr. Barrett's Objections seem to be based on the fact that the proposed Council would be non-denominational. In his memorandum to the Hierarchy he  says that the idea has been conceived by people who 'would appear to have ultimate objectives differing substantially from those of the Catholic agencies' ....
