For those of you living in the UK and Subject to the Bedroom Tax?
My wife and I have fallen foul of the Bedroom Tax, this is despite the fact that the Council House that we live in has been adapted due to my wife’s medical needs.
This means that she should have been eligible for a “Discretionary Housing Payment” to make up the Shortfall in the rent.
The reason for this I because she received a “Personal Injury Payment” from the Irish Residential Institutions Redress Board.
