My recommendations to caranua for their new guidelines.

Remove Mary Higgins from caranua.

Employ survivors to help survivors.

Burn the current guidelines, put a video of this on website and replace with a simple phone call like this, what can caranua do for you today that would make a real difference in your life. See its real easy to help people if thats your true intention.

Apologise to all survivors for the abuse and discrimination carried out by caranua todate.

Refuse to take your wages from the fund and return to…

Be sure to take the time to read this fully and understand the document, i have included what we as a group have discussed both on the forum and via private messages, remember a survivors right to privacy is paramount so if you dont feel comfortable putting your full name to it that is fine it is being sent on behalf of all members here and for survivors everywhere. Be sure to comment if you would like to add anything to the document or you have any issue with its content.…

A challenge for caranua

I first applied to caranua 2 and a half years ago, so i challenge any staff member to come visit me, spend a few days with me and see just what my life is like and then explain to me how 43 million has been spent in our name and yet here i am still waiting, badly in need of medical help amonst other things. Caranuas human rights and discrimination abuse

Any survivor who was refused housing support because they live in private rented housing has been discriminated against, the bulk of the fund is spent on housing.

Caranuas payment process which only deals with service providers and refuses to pay the grant to survivors themselves, as they deem us not capable or not trustworthy to handle this ourselves is a breach of our human…

Hi all caranua has there customer charter, why dont we put together a charter of our own all sign it and send it in to them,

My latest complaint to caranua

Firstly you discriminate against me, why i wonder, is it because i have a mental health issue, you know discrimination is against the law. You take years to provide me with some token help, heres me telling people that there are some good guys in caranua guess you fooled me David, to refuse a survivor dental work that is so badly needed is a scandal which you guys will have to answer for, you by virtue of your payment process regard us as subhuman again breaching our human rghts, your policy…

Some changes to caranua guidelines after all

Just being going through updated guidelines on caranua, well well well,  now those of us in private rented housing can apply for home improvements, extract from new guidelines

You can apply for housing support no matter what type

of accommodation you live in. It could be a house, an

apartment or a caravan. It doesn’t matter if you own it,

have a mortgage on it or are renting it. It’s your home

and you’re entitled to apply to us for assistance that will

help…

Does anyone else have a problem with misinformation

€43 million paid out to survivors it proudly states on caranua website, should it not say, 43 million paid to business's to provide services to survivors as we are not trusted to make these payments ourselves, despite the fact the fund is being overcharged by certain companies and the cost of issuing those fexco vouchers, or the lies one has to come up with if you wish to keep your history private when dealing with service providers. Im sure theres a word for it,

Email to the irish times this morning

Hi Carl haven read your article on education this morning, re 5 pitfalls for new minister, i wonder if you know that the dept of edu is in charge of caranua, a fund which allot of survivors have issues with, the main one being as survivors we were promised all along that our kids would be looked after, now we were supposed to get a review of the caranua legislation in 2015 with a view to giving our kids access to caranua, this has not happened, also the inherit discrimination in the…
