Ireland: UN human rights expert calls for national strategy to protect children from sexual violence

GENEVA (21 May 2018) – Legal advancements in Ireland that aim to put children first should be accompanied by a national strategy to prevent and respond to sexual violence against minors, says the UN Special Rapporteur on the sale and sexual exploitation of children, Maud de Boer-Buquicchio.
