The Shame of Ireland
On the 18th of August 2020 I paid £100 towards keeping the website up and running.
I was going to let it lapse and then it would have disappeared, but I thought better of it!
So what do we do with it?
What direction does it take?
and
Who is going to run it?
My life has changed dramatically and the reason I set up the website "To stop the Statutory Trust Fund from being set up" has ceased to exist as the organisation it spawned "Caranua" has run its course.
Questions were asked of it at the Public Accounts committee, and I believe that those questions are because of my work here, as the questions that were asked are identical to those posted at
Questions for the Public Accounts Committee
That being said this is a valuable resource for the future, and a record of the fight and wrongs that were imposed on Survivors. There is a lot of information, and a lot of Survivors opinions, experiences and feelings embodied in the complex structure of the website.
To lose all this would be a shame!
I have asked previously if anyone could help migrate it to free hosting as I do not have the technical ability to do so, and cannot afford to pay for the site maintenance!
So how do we preserve it and what direction does it take?
It is up for another year so there is time to ask around and see if some way of sorting it out can be found?
Please let me know what you think and can do?
Or maybe you know someone that can help?
It's that time of year again!
As I've said previously here, my work has been done and the site is a record of the struggles of survivors.
Website fees have to be paid they are £169
This is the current available to pay these fees!
Can anyone get this site transferred to free webhosting?
Does anyone want to take over responsibility and ownership?
Other than that donations need to be made!
The UK Bank Account details are
