Is the "God Squad" Really Gone?

It would appear that Paddy Doyle has removed his well respected an well loved website "The God Squad"

I hope this is a temporary hitch? as there is so much there that means so much to many Survivors!

Either way I wish him well in his future endeavours.

With regard to Clair Rose's comment. Isn't it time you realised that you're an adult.  I presume - a dangerous thing to do - but yet you chose to follow Paddy, not just on Twitter or whatever. Paddy has helped thousands of people, man and women.  His comment at the SNAP conference was a 'tongue in cheek' comment.  He frequently uses that word 'wimmin' on Twitter as do others. I was at the SNAP conference and as a woman, I found his comment about "Wimmin" was just funny.  So did the lots of the other. Incidentally, he was the only person to get a standing ovation.  Woman and men in equal numbers,  Perhaps you should read his paper delivered at the SNAP conference.  Not once while I was around him have I heard him utter a disparaging comment about women. It seems to me that you 'fell' for  him and it both of you got hurt.  Putting on my psychologists 'hat' might I suggest you and he see if you can call a halt to the fences between you.  He's hurt as much as you are. I write this as he's going into hospital again this week and the following week for possible serious spinal surgery. I know from talking to him that there isn't a bad bone in his body. Anyway, that's my piece.  I now rest my case and say, there are no fences that can't be mended.  It's up to the two of you to communicate and explore ways of being friends.  If I've overstepped the mark Clair, I'm sorry.   Mags.

PS. Perhaps I shouldn't interfere but I don't like seeing two people who could be great friends being torn apart  I'm not trying to see if there is a way of at least emailing each other.

I recently received a Confidential email from Paddy Doyle, and as I will not break a confidence, I shall not reveal any of the content.

 

I responded again in confidence and asked him why Margaret White shares the same IP Address (i.e. why has “She” been using his computer in his home to engage in the Conversations on the Shame of Ireland).

 

As I have always believed in transparency I would like to ask Margaret openly for an explanation?

 

Sadly the site is under moderation and I would ask you to wait for her reply, before responding.

 

Hopefully this can be resolved and I can take moderation off soon!

 

It has never been my intention to stifle debate or to Censor anyone!

 

I do ask that you treat each other with respect, when responding.

All this is getting complicated. Paddys a writer. Thay often use different names. Who is margeret!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. If he is in hospital its best to wait untill he gets better. I dont know what went on but adults know when thay are being used for sex. Its that paddys way of speech took away any idea that he was weak willed. on the contrary  he doesnt seem to need saving at all He has organisd his life very well considering. I dont want to offend anyone but relationships are always a mystery. only the ones in it can understand it.

it seems strange to discuss somebody who is not a member of this site. they are not able to defend themselves against any claims against them. as the person referred to is a survivor they must seek justice in any way they can. i can understand some fellow survivors may consider membership of a state set up board as a conflict of interest but god knows in the bigger picture anybody's true motivation and strategy. because some survivors do think being a survivor on a state board is a conflict of interests or betrayal they might well be down on that survivor. i hope this can be resolved real soon.

got to be careful with wording here. somebody i knew in the past is now involved with a certain organization. a total turn around in terms of position!  i was surprised to hear about this. wondered what on earth had caused this involvement?!  not unlike for the sake of comparison altar boy becomes priest!  i hope good arises from decision to go within. i guess some people might think betrayal. i hope ends justify means. prefer reserve judgement. await meeting with that person to hear what happened to cause them to be what i call insider.

glad to be reading all these posts and impressed by certain things said by certain posters!  personally i would be wary about getting involved in discussing a survivor who is not a member of this site. i do not doubt however that some survivors may well be down on the survivor referred to because they were on a state board. it's a shame more survivor's are not on that board?!

Pauline, it is my belief that 'Mags' is Paddy Doyle. There I said it!
He has exposed himself on this website as a devious manipulator and liar which further proves my original claim.
Does he believe everyone on this website is stupid? I think so.
Do neurologists in Ireland make house calls and videos? No.
Is he in hospital? No he is not.

Why am I even bothering! Mags is a figment of Paddys imagination hence we can take her comments with a pinch of salt.

I saw the re-branding last night....and sent him another chunk of my mind to celebrate.

Really, seriously Paddy, time to cop yourself on...you have been a proper little b*st*rd, there can be no excuse for any of it...but these ladies need closure, and the closure they choose is knowing that you will *NEVER* be able to hurt someone else the way you have hurt them again.

A public apology and an undertaking that you will *NEVER* do this again is long overdue. In the beginning, if you had been man enough, you could have made that apology and undertaking anonymously on Jo's blog...but now I think it needs to be out in the open, because until you admit it NOBODY can trust you not to be abusing women in exactly the same way again, first chance you get.
