The Shame of Ireland

Hello fellow prisoners, The latest numbers I see regarding payouts to survivors in the UK are; 6,234.215 to 569 survivors I don't know if that is pounds or euro's as I do not trust my own math, how much does each survivor receive, I get 109,564 that must be wrong as my education stopped at age 14 to be put to work in Glin.

Could there be a gathering, for example a vigil in Dublin if not elsewhere?  So many deceased already without having received justice. Caranua is not a charity. It is government set up and approved and run and needs to be accountable to whom for, the survivors. Not all survivors can wait for responses or approval to have their stated needs met. Staff wages and expenses is a thorn amongst the roses. That type of set up should never have been approved by the then opposition. I understand there already has been a review?  Reviews can be same old nothing new.  It is beyond review now. New legislation needs to be introduced in consultation with survivors now as Michael has said.

Jack excellent points there, they being caranua have a vested interest in limiting help to survivors as the surplus ends up in their personal bank accounts, i have some ideas for protests which are totally outside the box as these are pretty exteme i would like to see us play out our limited legal options first, then we could move to this option, thats just my personal opinion. Marylou all caranua have shown todate is that they do not care about survivors in the slightest while the bank as much of our fund to their own bank accounts as possible, these are facts and unless the legal system is as corrupt as caranua they will have to answer for this. Outside the box is a better advantaged view. A new government a new deal?
