Liturgy of Lament and Repentance - The Foot Washing Farce!

On next Sunday 20th February at 3pm a Liturgy of Lament and Repentance for the sexual abuse of children by priests and religious will be held in St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, within the framework of the Apostolic Visitation of the Archdiocese of Dublin.

The liturgy will ask the forgiveness of God and of all survivors for the failure of those Church leaders and many others in the family of the Church to respond with love, integrity, honesty, understanding and compassion to the pain and distress of survivors.

During the liturgy which has been prepared principally by survivors, Cardinal Sean O’Malley and Archbishop Diarmuid Martin will wash the feet of a group of people who have suffered in various ways through abuse. ENDS

Yesterday, I gave another Talk on my Book and the abuse in Ireland. In the (3) three Talks I have given over the past eight days, Guess What'''''''' ( I invite questions after my Talk,) are you READY. Three Irish Women, Convent Educated naturally, defended the LOVELY KIND HOLY SISTERS. The consenses was I was making a generalisation on all of the Nuns. They confirmed who they were taught by, would you believe it was the Loretta Order and that they were treated lovengly and kindly. I replied, your Parents paid HIGHLY for your education, therefore they would not dare lay a hand on you. Nor would they lower themselves by having anything to do with the ORPHANS.That Order of Nuns would not have belittled themselves even l

They didn't exist then (on the popes visit) and they don't exist now. The Church Leaders have always uttered untruths. Like my varied Diet in Moate. One Sausage on Christmas morning and one Egg a year on Easter Sunday.

Protest tomorrow outside the Pro Cathedral while the foot washing of PR theatre is going on.Hope nobody turns up to have their feet washed.Why give the clegy the satisfaction of thinking that this procedure would make any difference to the harm they have cause.
