The Shame of Ireland
September 2015, 54 years gone by, my sisters and I finally got to meet our brother Michael. So much to catch up on.
Feelings of sadness/happiness all rolled into one. Barnardos found Michael for us (Thank you so much Andrew).
Michael came and stayed in our hometown (cobh) for 9 days. I am so happy right now just thought I'd share with
you all.
Absolutely Chuffed to bits for you!
Only Now Seen Your Message Here Rose! I Hope Everything Has Turned Out Really Well! I Tried Barnardos And They Were No Help At All (Worse Really). First My Letter To Barnardos Was Returned With Notice Which Said "Unknown Address". The Address Was Very Much Known! A Solicitor Next Handed My Letter In To Make Sure They Got It! Weeks Later I Received A Response. Sorry Can Not Help As Your Parents Were Not Married At The Time Of Your Birth.
