Hi every one for those of you who don't know me I have joined this group because my father was taken into state care aged 2. With his two brothers and four sisters. Aged 12 he was hired out to a farmer to do 18 hour days. My three brothers and one sister and two more uncles were also in Irish industrial schools. My siblings and I suffered greatly being raised by my father. I have a blog noleenbetrayed40years.blogspot.com and my face book name is Dalkey Sindy Murphy. Dalkey because I grew up in Dalkey where I was sexually abused by my father and two brothers and a paedophile ring I was sold out to. Sindy because that's the name people in Dalkey know me by and Murphy was my maiden name. I was mentally, verbally and physically abused in Primary school and had an application with The Commission to Enquire into Child Abuse for four years then they dropped Primary Schools from their remit. I have been campaigning against the Irish Government for 19 years for justice for the abuse I suffered and feel that my fathers upbringing in a Catholic run state funded was partly to blame for the horrific childhood I suffered I consider myself a child victim of the Irish Institutions because my father was turfed out onto the street at 16 and expected to then live a normal life within society, marry and raise a family, having experienced what he did. However I am NOT defending my father he had to take some responsibility which hw never did and he died an innocent man. I admire the many survivors both men and women who fight the Government to do this day and I can relate to their struggle having fought myself for 19 years against a Government who just wont listen .
Yes they heard from 85 witnesses from primary schools Jack, but then dropped everyone else's case the 85 witnesses were "sample" cases but do the maths, if 15,000 survivors applied from institutions, how many primary school applications might they have received??? Triple??? And I didn't see any mention of secondary schools, does anyone know anything about that??
Hello my dear, I'm miss Helen,i came across your profile and i developed interest in knowing more about you,i would like to know you more better feel free to contact me with my gmail email ( email@example.com ) i have something special to share with you hoping to hear from you soonest thanks and see you later
You're in the news again today Cynthia, and I wish you more success now, the truth and justice, especially as you are sure there are people on the ground who know the truth. You have been 'with me' ever since I set foot in Ireland, and like a few others - such as the STARDUST (new inquiry comig) - have been part of my life. Maybe that's why I'm a bit obsessed with the level of lies and injustice in Ireland. One other such person is dear Paddy Doyle, who just left us last week. I considered him my friend and I'm sure he had touched many survivors during his campains and dedicated work. With regards to Primary Schools, Louise O'Keeffe is another great hero of out times.
I wish you well Cynthia, and also extend my warmest thought to all on this page.
