hello!  yes that is me in the profile photo! if i recall right i was trying to see which side you were on?!  usually in photos when there are captions people mention names from left to right but who's left and who's right?! are you the tall girl on my right?  i would like to encourage people to join this site and to take part in a way that makes them feel better!  yesterday i walked into a restaurant i have visited before and as i walked in i barely noticed a name plague outside the door! name of the proprietor. the christian name was familar. surname Nunn!  i told  the waitress who served me about the name i saw on the door outside and that in my opinion in no way is the manager of the restaurant a nun!  the waitress told me that her surname was also Nunn!  she agreed with me that she is not at all religious!

We as survivors were abused by sadistic Savages as young children the result of that is many survivors suffer depression in adulthood CAUSED by the Abuse we were forced to suffer  at the cruel hands of the  so called Religious Orders and the Irish Government  ,they made sure we  Really suffered  as children, How any of us survived into adulthood is a Miracle.

yes indeed. i agree. infact i suggest most if not all cases of depression are child abuse related. the victims can be detained and drugged and silenced. strangers write reports about them that they never see. how convenient! the word survivor does not automatically conjour up happy or thriving or healthy or fullfilled or joy. is it really enough to have survived childhood abuse?  what for?  so that children who became lawyers or journalists or politicians can think it ok to keep the child abuse (adults) down?  no bloody way!  the abuse commission experience for me was abuse. yes abuse. the government appointed lawyer was not qualified to question me and i had been misled all along as to what i could expect from the abuse commission which was really only set up to report it's findings for the government of the day who had already decided what's what without first seeing the bloody report?  there must be alot of child abuse victims (adults) who have not yet settled their cases because of the government of the day.

I am interested in finding out more about the poor treatment of children by institutions charged with their safety.

My father, who is now dead, went to Christian Brothers school. He always talked about the "iron discipline". I think he really meant abuse.

The sad thing is that he ended up in prison for abusing my sister. I have always wondered if he was abused as a child and he just carried on what happened to him.

Jack. you mention the lawliars.....who work for the court corporation, which is run by Opus Dei....sure you never stood a chance with them.

Also children in  "care" are seen as DISPOSABLE KIDS."

They are stigmatised because of EUGENICS movement who see children to this day 2011 as animals to be used and abused. If you read the sacred texts of the religions, you will find it all there in ink that women and children are CATTLE /possessions of the patriarch/church/state. Most people want to believe it is all different now, but i know from a lawyer that this change is an illusion.

2011- A child is 7 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO BE ABUSED IN CARE THAN AT HOME.!!!

So, there is so much concern re children why is such a % allowed.

"Care is the one place where you can LEGALLY ABUSE A CHILD AND GET PAID FOR IT." the words of a child coming out of "care.

We have to look at the energy of this- Hitler's motto was "best interest of the child"first and we all know what he and SS did in their best interests......so what is different? children used as guinea pigs for vaccines.

Even for children not in the system, vaccines/poisons are being given with the full knowledge of the side affects from the ingredients. Most doctors do not even know the ingredients and are only interested in the bonuses. now Joan Burton TD proposes to cut off child benefit and starve the children and their parents into accepting the poisoned needle. This has the same energy of the Famine/Genocide days.

Anyway, enough ranting from me.

Hello Jack,  really nice to meet you.  I spent 7 years in a hell hole run by the sisters of mercy (the name is a joke ) I received my compensation but had a fight on my hands when I first applied but I kept gooing and with the help from Phyllis Morgan at the Irish center in London and 4 years down the line I received my money.   It helps but those young years of ill treatment will never go away,  life is much better now.
