@ShameOfIreland If you have a proposal about the fund I could put that to the Minister on your behalf?

I Know we are all against the Statutory Fund on Principle but I feel I have to ask if we want to put forwrd our own Proposals?

I shall of Course keep telling T.D.'s via email and Twitter that the Fund is wrong!

We are being used by this system of paying for posh offices and the people who work there. we wouldnt even know that thay existed without the two sites who arent even funded by the staturary fund and yet its the only time we can let of a bit of the steam caused by false promises. these groups and the press are lying about us being taken serously. its not true. we have a bunch of ghosts making a living out of all this. thats enough.

The Education Fund at the moment will fund free guitar lessons but will not help in paying for schoolbooks for children of survivors attending Secondary schools.  The new fund should focus on the needs of survivors and their children and not Guitar tutors.

I don't believe for one moment that survivors will benefit from the statutory trust fund.The Education fund is hard enough to deal with so many forms and still you have to wait for months to see if your application is successful.So God only knows how this statutory fund will work, prersonally I don't hold out much hope.

When i read the beginning of the information i was very surprised by the wording. its not clear at all. who is supposed to benefit. it seems open to all sorts of different interpretations. who decides in cases where the redress board refused awards. this part is very hard to understand. it seems open. why are thay threatening us for most of us are honest people. and of course children should be taken care of in thier needs.as for guitar lessons well i dont see who thats for .
