Shatter promised so much in opposition then when given power becomes somebody else!

My grandad used to walk me along the suir river path ( then covered in nettles ) he served in ypres WW! : a large number of his buddies including his brother died in the second battle , He returned to this building and i watched him reflect as he moved through the life sized stations of the cross and then extra long time at the cross and Golgotha ...
I didnt know what ferrhouse was , but having researched the place , the stories and the men leaving that place , plus some of the court cases prior to the education dept . taking over from the Brotherhood ... a large number of boys starved to death whilst the brothers and the prefects ate " normally " ... bread and dripping was the norm three times ady for the boys ... two brothers lived there they fought in the grounds many times only discovering they were brothers when they left aged 16 ... shithole place ...
