It must be taken into consideration in an era whereupon, all females were treated as usable goods.  We were not equal, we were seen in a subordinate role to our male partners.  The Catholic Church compounded this ideology, in their sexist views.  So anything usable is viewed as "she", listen to people describing their car, motorbike, boat, all are described as in "her" performance" .  Sadly, today, the Church still view their loyal female members, by embracing them in a lessor role.  Thankfully the young girls of today do not share this view. It is important to add, young females, are still struggling in many areas, of education be being purposely directed into career roles, such as social work etc, and most roles that are profoundly diminished in status, as more and more females are being used for field work.  We must keep trying to gain equality of differences, so as the catastrophes of the past directed at females will never be allowed happen again.  It is common knowledge, the Church still holds fast to its barbaric view on females, here's hoping females of today so many the mothers of tomorrow, the first educators of their young, will be able to guide their young into a more equal society and stay clear of any "Cave Man" hypocrisy.
