Switzerland's shame
Thousands of people in Switzerland who were forced into child labour are demanding compensation for their stolen childhoods. Since the 1850s hundreds of thousands of Swiss children were taken from their parents and sent to farms to work - a practice that continued well into the 20th Century.

At last it surfaces - just to validate the father of the ex partner (she would be a little younger than I so this is just before WWII) of my Swiss ex was sold into this kind of serfdom near Basel. It was common practice, nobody remarked such things until now.
Dearly though I love them the Swiss are better at keeping their dirty secrets than anyone.I am glad this is "out" at last.

If you click on the Share icon .... beside the Twitter & Facebook icons you can then select Twitter in the pop-up box that appears. It's only then a matter of editing the Tweet ....
