Thanks a lot folks for the birthday wish's and gifts. Glad I made it this far ,all thing's considered, only 30 years to go before Liz sends me a telegram ! LOL.
Best wish's to one and all, keep strong, keep up the good work, no surrender !
Jimmy great to hear that P.J. Tobin will be attending the Reunion. I am going to try and get there myself. All depending on the priceof flight's from here . J.H.
James, I was delighted to hear you talking about Seanie, I have not been in touch with him for so long. Peggy and Seanie stayed with me when they came over to England. They are wonderful people. If you ever meet them, You and your wife will love them. Give them my love when you communiate with them again.
Hi Margaret, Sorry, only spotted your post just now while browsing, yes I agree about Seanie and Peg, never met them but feel I know them well, have shared mail, photos , etc.. for years now with them ,and it is for them and their like living out in the States and Canada, that I feel so sorry for, being faced with massive medical expenses etc., and the cost of living is as expensive as the cost of dying !
A share of the STF money ,I am sure, would be most welcome for these deserving folk, and at least ease these burdens they have to bare, in living where they settled.
