Hello Barbara, just to ask how did the meeting go with the minister yesterday, did you manage to mention caranua. As you say our money will dry up sooner than later and I'm sure there are lots of us that still need help, in my case its financial help but they are not very forthcoming but am not giving up. Liz
Hello Barbara, good morning hope the weather is as nice there as it is here. We have been looking after our Grand daughter Lilly for the last 2 weeks as her child minder is on holiday, she goes home today so I can get some housework done properly.
Anyway, any news with the meeting with the minister yet, we as survivors cannot sit back and allow our money to float away if I lived any closer I would accompany you but I am in the UK. Good luck with that and keep in touch. Liz Nicholas
Hi kid, I lost contact also, other stuff needed dooing ,still does, so hoear you were unwell, sorry to hear. Hope you are better than before. We must meet, as I am very aware that nothing is secure. Not even shure if my news is relevent, suffice to say, I am glad I used the pen and not the phone to communicate with caranua.
Hi, lost the plot again, any up date, you were to have a meeting with someone, how did it go, it is scary how they are changing things, almost under the table, if it was not for this site, I for shure would be in the dark. Also not shure how many are around my area, and how many could attend a meeting of our own,, I'm shure we could get a central meeting place, and Invite some of the media, and give anyone who wants, a chance to speek, What think you. If there is a way of finding out how many are around, perhpas Athlone could be a venue..It is central, near train and bus, and so on.
Hi again, the National |Advocy Service is not just for people with disabilitys, I just found out, and was afraid to ask, cos i do not fit the disability bill, so it covers a lot of areas, they are known for pushing boundrys, and getting things done, all have studied law, and are available, the contact details can be found at citizens advice.ie, in your local area, they respond within 3 working days, the only other thing I will say, is that who ever contacts them, put your brain in gear before you open your mouth, or think brfore you talk, they want facts, they are there to assist, and there are other survivours, not just of the church, they are an advocy for anyone and everyone who needs them, so citizen advice, get the contact details for the local advacy service in your area, and have your facts at hand, because they will call you back. Caranua telephoned them recently, to ask how they can best communicate with the survivours who contact them, as for me, I am now letting my advocate communicate with them on my behalf, Fionna the barister in dublin has taken an interest in my situation, and my advocate is in communication with her on an on going bases. Feel free to post as you see fit.I will up date you as it all unfolds.
Hi Seanie, take a look at the link for the errors 403 and they have some fix's on the link. and try and access their website again, if not try turning off your firewall and then try.

thanks barbara i have being saying oll along that caranua is running out of our money we
that suffered in state sponcered prisons will now get nothing oll our money is being spent
on big wages .mary higghans and her croneys have worked it out that in 2 years there will
be nothing left the vulchers in caranua have picked every penny off the bones and will
make sure there is nothing left for us . james fox
thanks babara for the names of the 4 of the survivers employed by caranua .james fox
you're welcome!!
thanks barbi for your email re enhanced medical card I'm going to rite to my td and see if
there is any thing he can do for us . once again we that have suffered are left out this is
another kind of abuse we are treated like second class people with out a voice I'm sure if
we could get into court we could win our case but the powers that be know we can't afford to take a case so they don't care . james fox.
